The Mindlin Lectures

The Mindlin Foundation supports lecture series at several universities, including the University of Washington and Washington University in St. Louis. The lectures are designed to provide the student body and faculty the opportunity to engage with leaders in their fields, and broadly disseminate ideas in diverse venues.

“The Mindlin Lecture brings nationally-recognized experts to Washington University in St. Louis and is a valuable resource for our students and faculty. The School of Engineering & Applied Science is grateful to the Mindlin Foundation for its support in advancing engineering knowledge.”

Ralph S. Quatrano, Dean
School of Engineering & Applied Science
Washington University in St. Louis

“The Mindlin Foundation public lectures enrich the University of Washington and the greater community by welcoming to campus distinguished researchers, especially women, who take an interdisciplinary approach to science. For the 7th annual Mindlin lecture, the UW Department of Biology had the pleasure of inviting a Native American researcher who marries scientific principles with indigenous knowledge in order to generate ideas for sustainability, conservation, and restoration. This speaker will join the ranks of uncommon leaders and creative thinkers who have given the Mindlin Lecture at the UW. We thank the Mindlin Foundation for their tremendous generosity and for the opportunity to hold these important and enlightening talks!”
